Operations
No single project undertaken by an American Legion Post has greater importance to its future than an adequate activity and service center. Our Post has five unique groups that work together with the Commander to serve the better needs of its membership and its community.
Commander-The Commander, an elected American Legion officer, serves as a position of authority and leader for the Post.
Executive Committee-
The government and management of Post 91 are entrusted to the Executive Committee. They (along with the Post's Commander) oversee all three units and have final decision on all matters relating to the Post.
Elected Officers-
A full group of officers for all three Units (American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion) are elected to do specific jobs. Their primary function is to serve as a government body for each unit.
Appointed Committees-
Appointed by the Post 91 Commander, each appointment serves as a chairperson or committee to oversee already established activities and programs of the Post.
Employees-
The duties of our employees are many and varied... including record keeping, purchasing, receiving, operation of the canteen, kitchen, hall and other club activities, as well as the responsibility for maintenance and sanitation of the property.
